This new cycling computer from Whaoo Fitness is a fantastic little data gatherer; it uses Bluetooth to connect to iPhones, iPods and iPads. The Blue SC is capable of transmitting a whole host of information, including speed, cadence and distance.

Convenient Health Tracking, Fitbit Aria WiFi Smart Scales

A while back we looked at the Fitbit Wireless Activity Tracker; it’s a handy little gadget that logs a whole host of data while you work or play. For example how far you’ve walked / run, calories burned and stairs climbed. The great thing about the Fitbit Tracker is the ability to upload your data and get a better idea of how healthy you are overall.

Pear Sports Square One

Sometimes I’ll provide a title for a gadget that gives you absolutely no idea what it is. Today is one of those days. Obviously the word ‘sports’ should give you a vague idea of what could be involved here, but beyond that let me explain what it’s all about.

Striiv Pedometer: Hands-On Review

I have been using this handy device for a couple of weeks and it’s defiantly a smart little cookie. The Striiv is a small touchscreen pedometer which you can carry round in your pocket, or on your belt / keychain with one of the provided accessories.

Most of my day is spent in the office; working on a computer, making sure I get enough exercise is always in the back of my mind, the Striiv has ..

Gyroboard Trainer, Improves Strength and Balance

Ask anyone who knows me and they’ll say I have very little stability on two legs. I’m fine on a bike, but strap anything to my feet and I’m virtually guaranteed to fall over within sixty seconds. This is why I don’t go skiing, skateboarding or ice skating.

But I have to admit to still being vaguely curious about the Gyroboard. This looks like a sure way to fall over in the comfort of my own ..
