Paypal, a pioneer in the online money transfer and payment space, has launched “Here”, a new mobile payment platform that uses your smartphone. The “Here” platform is the result of Paypal working closely with Fuseproject, the San Francisco based design firm.

To use “Here”, you will first need to procure a triangular shaped thumb-sized card reader and download an app onto your smartphone. The reader and app are free, but each transaction that runs on “Here” ..

inPulse Smartwatch, In Sync with Your Smartphone

Many people I know have stopped wearing watches, relying instead on the clocks that are built into their smartphones.

With the inPulse smartwatch, the watch industry seems to be launching a counter strike. Indeed, why can’t a watch do what has conventionally been the preserve of a mobile phone?

The inPulse smartwatch, available on the inPulse site and priced at around $150 (£95), is a wrist watch in terms of look and feel. But as they say, appearances ..

Sony Xperia Sola Announced

Yes it is time once again to find a brand new Xperia model to review. Sony has just announced that another model, the Sola, is available. This is a super thin phone with a nice design and that familiar Sony feel.

41MP Camera in a Smartphone, the Nokia 808 PureView

Is it a smartphone? Is it a camera? Well actually it is both, but on appearance you may well wonder which camp it falls into. The Nokia 808 packs an incredible 41 megapixel camera into its casing, giving you every reason to ditch the idea of buying a separate camera altogether.

When you realise that the phone has optics from none other than Carl Zeiss, coupled with Nokia’s own PureView technology, you realise that this is ..

Sony Xperia NXT Series, Xperia P and U

Hang on, Sony Xperia – where did the Ericsson bit go? Apparently the two have parted ways and we are now left with the plain and simple Sony name in the mobile phone market. Hence why we have the Sony Xperia phones to review here, in the shape of the Xperia P and the Xperia U.

They might sound like the two shady characters in Men in Black, but in fact these are the two new ..
