Beats By Dr. Dre Beatbox on AT&T

On March 11, AT&T is set to launch an exclusive edition of “Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox”, a high-performance, portable wireless audio system.

Priced at almost $400 (£267), the system’s name is inspired by “Beats by DR. Dre boombox”, which was launched some years ago.

This sound system is eclectic in that it combines the advantage of wireless Bluetooth technology with battery-powered portability and of course, high quality audio output.

The Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox system includes a 5.25 inch woofer. A 3.5mm input line-in allows you to connect other sources. It can be powered by a set of six D-cell batteries. It comes with a full remote that you can use not just to switch the device on and off but also to adjust volume, scan tracks and so on.

Beats by Dr. Dre is said to deliver music just the way the artist intended it to be- rich, full, and free of distortion. This is possible because of the product’s superior sound engineering. The system is available in black or white.

AT&T also plans to launch some more Beats products, such as the wireless HD stereo Bluetooth headphones (with a built-in microphone), the Beats Solo HD headphones and the UR Beats-in-ear headphones.

The whole point behind these superior audio systems is to ensure that music lovers do get the option of being able to listen to high quality output even when they are on the move.

In addition to AT&T, Beats is also tying up with HTC. So watch out for some exclusive options from the HTC stable as well.
