We’d all like a home cinema if we could possibly afford one. And the Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 12 cannot simply be called a television, for to do that would be to grant it a grave injustice.
This is a screen, a panel – but one that offers the opportunity to experience home cinema in ways you won’t have experienced before.
I suppose you can rely on Bang & Olufsen to provide the latest and greatest in home cinema experiences, and they have certainly surpassed themselves with the BeoVision 12.
This is a plasma screen that is thinner than the average painting. It’s almost like looking at a moving poster: such is the quality and thinness of the design.
This isn’t a screen that will fit into every home. There are two good reasons for this. Firstly the ticket price is said to be around $11,350 (£7,560). Secondly it measures a whopping 65 inches in size, so if you want to sit back and enjoy this baby you’re going to need a dedicated cinema room to do it in.
However if your budget can stretch to this you’ll appreciate the automatic picture control and the ability to adjust the picture itself according to the amount of light present in the room at any time.
