Headphones and Speakers Combined, Zumreed X2 Hybrid

| February 28, 2012 |

Sometimes, one would like to listen to music via external speakers that are not so close to one’s ears like headphones tend to be. But because one is in a train or in an office with other people around, one is forced to listen to music using headphones.

Now, with Zumreed X2 hybrid headphones, you can transform your headphones into desktop speakers whenever you wish to and reconvert them to headphones quite easily.

Priced at £100, these hybrid headphones are not cheap. But they do save you the hassle of having to carry a separate set of desktop speakers with you wherever you go. Perhaps more important, they give you the convenience of easily switching from personal listening mode to group listening mode.

The Zumreed X2 hybrid headphones are available in black, white and red. They are made of glossy high quality plastic and come with gold plated 3.5mm and 6.3mm gold plated stereo plugs that enhance audio output quality.

The design is very clever indeed, with individual speakers concealed inside each ear cup. At the flick of a switch, the audio output is routed from headphone to speaker.

The cushioned ear cups make for physical comfort as also superior audio quality. The noise cancelling headphones let you enjoy your favourite music even during peak hours on the Tube or train.

The Zumreed X2 hybrid headphones are powered by an internal Lithium ion battery that can be charged via USB connectivity. On a full charge, you can expect to get around four hours of continuous music.
