Nokia Lumia 800 Entertainment Bundle

| February 21, 2012 |

Nokia’s strategic tie-up with Microsoft to use the Windows Phone operating system has already seen the launch of the Lumia 710 and Lumia 810 phones in the last few months.

Next week, Nokia is set to launch the Lumia 800 Entertainment Bundle, which will be available exclusively at Microsoft stores around the US. This phone will support 3G networks (WCDMA/HSPA at 850/1900/2100).

If you don’t want to wait another week, walk into your nearest Microsoft store and ask for the Lumia Entertainment Bundle- and you shall receive it.

The Lumia 800 Entertainment Bundle, as the name suggests, is designed to deliver more than just the basic features of a smartphone. The Nokia Purity HD Stereo Headset will ensure superior audio output.

The Nokia Luna Bluetooth headset will allow you to route the music to Bluetooth-enabled speakers in your car or around the house as you get other work done. If you have company, and want to share with them what is making you smile as you listen to it, the Nokia Play 360° speaker is all you need.

According to the packaging, four colour choices exist. You can either go for black, where all devices are black or go for the model where all devices are magenta in colour except the Nokia Play 360° speaker, which is white. You also have cyan and white.

The Lumia 800 Entertainment Bundle is priced at $899 (£600)  and that’s for an unlocked version without a mobile service contract. You’re out of luck if you want to buy only the phone (without the speaker, Bluetooth headset etc) because this bundle will not be sold piecemeal at least for now.
