Considering I was hesitant about whether or not to buy an iPad to begin with, I’m quite surprised at how attached to it I am now. But I still feel that it’s lacking in a few areas, not least the fact that it doesn’t provide you with a USB port.
I can’t think of any reason why I would want one at the moment, but it doesn’t mean I don’t want one there. The good news is that if you feel cheated by the lack of such slots, ports and connectors for your iPad, you don’t need to feel that way anymore.
Now you can buy the iPad 5 in 1 connection kit to go along with it, and it will cater for virtually every single feature you could want it to. Basically you’ll get a dongle that acts as the middleman (or should that be middledongle, to create a new word?) to sit between your iPad and your computer, television or keyboard, to name just three.
The best thing about this kit is the versatility you’ll get from it. You may not even know what you’ll use it for to begin with, but with a price of less than forty dollars it makes sense to invest in it while you see it.
For my money I think I’ll use it to make charging my iPad easier more than anything else. But I get the feeling I’ll find other uses for it as well, enabling me to get even more enjoyment from my iPad as a result. The price is $39 (£26).
