Roadyacht GTS from Savage Rivale

Let’s be honest, given the choice between a Fiat 500 and a Bugatti Veyron, you’re going to go with the Bugatti. The trouble is when a man (sorry ladies, but it does only apply to men) buys one of these cars, it’s usually related to a milestone in his life, a forty or fifty year milestone usually.

So, sadly, these beautiful machines have become less of a sign of wealth and class, and more a mark of a gentlemen of a certain age pining for his youth. Some rather rude individuals also see these cars as indicators of a rather small appendage.

So if you want a midlife crisis vehicle nowadays it needs to be something a bit more special. How does a car that’s also a yacht sound? Netherlands automaker, Savage Rivale, have created just that with their Roadyacht GTS.

You’re probably wondering how a car that’s also a yacht could ever be considered as a supercar, it may sound far fetched, but they somehow manage it.

The car has a 6.2L V8 engine, a top speed of 205mph and the ability to go from 0 to 62 in just 3.4 seconds. Other than some nice looking renders there isn’t that much more info available for the Roadyacht yet.

Don’t expect to see these on the road (or in the water) anytime before 2013. The expected RRP hasn’t been released, but don’t think about picking it up for a reasonable price, this is a supercar yacht – expect a super-sized price tag.
