Superheadz Clap Camera

PowerShovel, the Japanese company known for its expertise in toy cameras, has launched the Superheadz Clap camera. Physically, it’s rather small, measuring only 1.4″ x 2.8” x 0.59″.

It weighs only 25 grams and in fact, looks less like a camera and more like a largish pen drive, especially when you uncover the end that houses the built-in USB connector.

The camera has a microSD card on which it stores the images and video files. All you need to do is plug the USB connector into your computer and you can easily transfer your images and video from the camera to your computer.

The camera is quite easy to operate. Of course, it has only a 2 megapixel sensor, which means the images and video you can record will not be of super-high quality. Image resolution is 720×480 pixels.

While the Superheadz Clap may not be your first choice camera for anything more than the most rudimentary of images, it can function quite effectively as a spy camera.

It is also handy for those situations when you may not have a regular camera but would like to take a few pictures, even if they are of relatively low resolution.

But in most such situations, you are probably better off using the camera in your mobile phone, assuming of course that it has a camera that can take pictures of more than 2 megapixels.

The Superheadz Clap is priced at $50 (£31) and is available in six colours- red, orange, pink, blue, white and black.
