Verizon Wireless has recently revealed the Samsung Stratosphere, the new smartphone that joins the Samsung Galaxy S family. The device, which is already online and available to purchase from certain stores, has a slim design and is the first Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smartphone to offer a large QWERTY keyboard.

Compared to typical laptop keypads, the Samsung Stratosphere keyboard is perfect for composing quick e-mails and creating documents.

The Samsung Stratosphere also provides an impressive 4* Super AMOLED display, which compliments products using B2B-enabled technology with connections from the likes of Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Cisco and receiving remote device facilities from Sybase.

The Samsung Stratosphere boasts excellent management support and is therefore ideal for the business professional looking for a reliable product with excellent back-up services.

The smartphone benefits from fast download speeds of up to 12Mbps, with uploading speeds as high as 5Mbps in areas receiving 4G Mobile Broadband coverage. The Samsung Stratosphere uses the prestigious Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which supports a range of Google Mobile services, including YouTube, Google Maps and Gmail.

Other great features include a 1.3 megapixel camera situated at the front of the phone, in addition to a 5-megapixel camera with HD recording at the back.

The Samsung Stratosphere also boasts Mobile Hotspot Capability as well as DLNA connectivity and those who would prefer not to waste the phone’s bandwidth on the 4G connection can always use the Wi-Fi service instead. The price and availability of the Samsung Stratosphere is yet to be revealed.
