For loyal subscribers who choose to use Virgin Mobile USA, a new kid is on the block for your enjoyment and this might well leave you chomping at the bit to obtain the gadget as quickly as possible.

Featuring a full keyboard within a ‘QWERTY’ design, the LG Optimus Slider is an Android underpinned gadget which has been carefully created by the popular guys over at LG.

The keyboard cleverly slides out when it’s required, whilst remaining tucked out of sight when it’s not needed, thus avoiding any unnecessary dimensions that cramp your style and pocket!

The newly available LG Optimus Slider is a new generation within the LG Optimus V family that made its debut in the earlier part of 2011, and the previous incumbent kept its popular smartphone status within offerings available from Virgin Mobile USA.

The LG Optimus Slider is still to be proven, but with its included screen which has touchscreen capability and dimensions of 3.2 inches, 3.2 MPX camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and expansion via microSD card slot, this looks set to be a sure success.

Apps come available on the gizmo which includes Virgin Mobile Live 2.0 and music streams on demand provided by Virgin Mobile. Available for USA residents who are Stateside from the third week of October 2011, the LG Optimus Slider is a pretty versatile piece of technology that can offer handy functions for those who are into social networking, e-mail exchanges, or text messaging fanatics.

With a price tag of $200, the LG makes composing content a very simple affair and the tactile and responsive keys will soon have you tapping out your needed communications.
