The PCTV nanoStick T2, stream Freeview to your iPhone / iPad

| July 29, 2011 |

This tiny and powerful DVB-T2 receiver will turn your PC or Mac into a Freeview HD TV and a PVR using the bundled TVCenter software.
The nanoStick T2 has recording and time shift features and is compatible with Freeview HD and the normal SD Freeview.

One of the nanoStick’s best features is live Freeview SD streaming and TV recordings over the internet, you can view these broadcasts on nearly any device with a web browser, including tablets and smartphones.

You can watch your favourite program while on holiday or a business trip wherever you are, over the internet using Wi-Fi, 3G or any web connection. The DistanTV software also enables you to schedule recordings over the web.

When at home you can enjoy Freeview HD with perfect picture quality, either in full screen mode, or in a scalable window. The time shifting feature is similar to Sky+; you can pause and rewind live TV.

You will need a fair bit of grunt under the bonnet for the HDTV; they recommend at least 2.6GHz multi-core processor.

PCTV Systems is a subsidiary of Hauppauge who know what they’re doing when it comes to PVR’s.
